Teaching Philosophy:

I love to teach, and my greatest reward is when students bring the same enthusiasm to classes that I do. I cater to a variety of learning styles by incorporating group problem solving, multimedia, debates, and other formats into my lectures. My goal is to inspire my students to continue lifelong learning in biology, sustainability, and critical thinking.

Personal:

I grew up near Santa Monica, and have always been interested in biology. Outside of teaching, I enjoy outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and biking, as well as dance and music.
