A    Student’s work is distinctly superior. Work is performed with focus and dignity; reflects mastery of the dance elements upon which focus is placed. This is excellent work !

B    Student accomplishes what the teacher asks. The work is performed with focus and dignity; reflects mastery of the dance elements at hand.

C    Student accomplishes most of the work required. Average work overall, technically unfocused.

D    Student’s work is still sketchy. Performance is characterized by many slips in focus and interrupted concentration.

F    Student’s work is significantly incomplete.
