My word pick:

Comfort

The word includes the Latin root, FORT, which means, strong. Together, with the word's prefix, the word suggests the idea of being strong with. More literally, one is giving strength to someone else.

Another word with the same root is efFORT, which conveys the strength and power that goes into a job well done.

Other common words with the same root are, enFORCEment, and reinFORCEment, both carrying the same sense of power and strength.

The root is reflected in the French, Italian, and Spanish words for loud, FORT, FORTE, and FUERTE, respectively.

My selected quote:

"By having a reverence for life, we enter into a spiritual relation with the world. By practicing reverence for life we become good, deep, and alive." ~ Albert Schweitzer
