Searching the SMC Library Catalog Browse searches an alphabetical list begins with first word from a specific field, such as Subject Terms displays them in alphabetical order more precise searching less flexible more specific results Keyword more flexible broader search results displays a list of titles searches for words in any order retrieves more irrelevant results searches either a specified field searches all fields best when you don't have exact information
