Lida Latifzadeh
Lida Latifzadeh was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She graduated from Farideh Salimi High School of Girls in Tehran. She got her B.Sc. in chemistry from University of Tehran in the year of 1980. She obtained her M.Sc. in chemistry specialized in Analytical Chemistry from University of Arizona in 1990. Her M.Sc. thesis is about using Raman spectroscopy to study the molecular structure of phosphate glasses. She got her Ph.D. in chemistry specialized in Physical Chemistry under supervision of professor K. Balasubramanian from Arizona State University in 1996. Her Ph.D. thesis is on the electronic structure of group V halides to study the spectroscopic properties of the by products of III-V semiconductors. Also, She did her Postdoctoral research work with professor K. Balasubramanian in Chemistry-Biochemistry Department at Arizona State University. The Postdoctoral research work has been focused on molecular modeling and electronic states of materials candidate for chemical storage and laser systems and by-products of III-V semiconductors produced during the fabrication process using Unix system.
