in class. You are required to bring a list a three (3) possible topics for your 1st speech. Bringing in only 1 or 2 will result in a lowering of your overall grade Purchase Scantron Form 1712-PAR-L and bring it to class next meeting. Purchase a 3-ring binder in which you will keep all material relevant to this Speech 1 course (downloaded lessons, downloaded resource files, returned outlines, etc...) |

an informative speech, focuses on the basics: topic choice, organization, outlining, use of
speech notes, clear delivery, audience focus, adequate rehearsal,
etc. In addition, this speech must include a minimum of 2 verbal citations of reference sources in the body of the speech. Note: Unexcused absence on any speech day counts double -- even if you're not scheduled to speak |
