Dr. Kline was born in Santa Monica Hospital, hard though this may be to believe. Her education began at Little Village Nursery School and continued at Canyon Elementary, Paul Revere Junior High and Palisades High. She then migrated south to attend U.C. Irvine, home of the anteaters. Five New England winters spent in Rhode Island at Brown University convinced her to return to Southern California for a postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA. She taught at CSU Long Beach from 1984-1988 and has taught at SMC since 1988.She enjoys horseback riding in her spare time (see photos). |
