Amyloplasts:
A Type of
Leucoplasts

Leucoplasts are colorless plastids that function primarily in the storage of starch, oils, and protein granules. Leucoplast specializing in starch storage are called amyloplasts and are common in seeds. Amyloplasts are also prevalent in storage tissues of plants, such as carrots and potatoes.
