DR. ADRIANNE HARROP has extensive experience as a director and choreographer, not only at SMC but at colleges and universities worldwide. She has directed more than 40 plays at SMC and dozens more at universities and theatres from Hollywood to England. She also has extensive choreographing experience and has many equity acting credits in productions throughout the country. She counts as the highlights of her directing career the SMC productions of "Sweeney Todd", "Pacific Overtures", "Passion" and "Vanya" which she co-wrote and which went to the regional festival of KC/ACTF, but says, "My greatest production is my son Nicolas."
She was one of the first recipients of the Excellence in Theatre Education Award for the western region, given by the KC/ACTF.
