Jazz Ensemble

An audition is required for this performance course. It is scheduled for the first Monday meeting of the fall or spring semester. Students wishing to participate are expected to bring his/her instrument and be ready to play on that day. Immediately following the audition, the band will begin rehearsing for its first concert. There are generally two on campus concerts during each semester. Additional Saturday rehearsals are often scheduled the day before a Sunday afternoon concert.

All musicians participating in the group are expected to make themselves available for these performances and rehearsals. Failure to do so will result in a grade reduction.
