CS 37 Web Programming
in Visual Basic .NET 3 Units
Transfer: UC, CSU • Prerequisite: CS 15
Course Description: This course is intended for students who successfully completed CS31 or CS15 or have a solid background in VB.NET, especially with creating classes and Exception Handling. Students will learn how - using ASP - they can build Web applications in VB.NET that may interface to database database applications. Students will learn the basics of Web forms, and controls, web data access, state management and web services.
It is recommended that students take CS32 before this course to get the full benefit of Database Web Applications..
Visual Studio 2003 Academic, will be provided Free of charge for students wishing to work at home, although it is their responsibility to install and maintain it.
