Biobrightstart is an introductory biology course designed to introduce students to a biological concepts. The course content is primarily cell biology. Students learn basic biological principles by carrying out simple experiments. Cooperative learning strategies are emphasized. The course serves as a remedial course for those students who may not have done well in high school biology. Students who have no training in biology but who have an interest in biology should also find this course useful.
