| Course Description | This is a general course with lecture and
laboratory. It can be used for transfer, elective, or preparation for
allied health occupations. It introduces functional interrelationships
of cell chemistry, cellular physiology, blood and circulation, respiration,
muscle activity, endocrine glands, reproduction, digestion, excretion,
brain, nerves, and sense organs. Prerequisites: Chemistry 10 with a C or better (or eligibility for chemistry 11*) and Anatomy 1 with a C or better; Math 31 with a C or better is a prerequisite for Chem 10; English 1 with a C or better is a prerequisite for Anatomy 1.
